Just a bit of a hassle getting luggage up the hill, eh?

The place is charming, the staff are amazingly nice and accommodating.
The units are updated, very classy with temporary curtain and an airplane bathroom plus a terrace...

Newly remodelled and little hotel with excellent team in a pretty hostile manner. Lovely, magnificent location on hop off ferries. And close enough to coast promenade, an excellent restaurant, and the hill overlooking Lake Como.
Beds were too hard.

Mauro was an really good host, making us feel right at home .
The bathroom amenities were lacking, with only tiny soap bottles that were difficult to manage while showering.

The hotel was nice little, huge room. The rooms with balcony. The property of choice in Varenna.

I was offered a room with INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL views of the lake. It also had a large bathroom and lovely beds - all for a very special stay. This hotel was set in a central area so close to the hill, and restraunts. Had lunch/dinner at Venue Olivedo Restaurant, which I found not very far from the hotel.
Some of the staff were a bit rude.

The amazing views of Lake Como from my room were a beautiful sight each morning. The communal area allowed for lovely moments to enjoy the sunshine and unwind with a glass of local wine.
No fridge in the room.

The bed was comfortable, and the room itself was spacious.

The view is quite nice, but lugging suitcases up steep roads is definitely a workout. A fridge is essential, yet nonexistent. You'd think a little air conditioning wouldn't be too much to ask for paying guests (but who am I to expect that?). Was considering a good review, but it's just impossible.

The breakfast each morning was a good treat, especially enjoyed it on the patio! The location was perfect, a short walk to the train station and nearby restaurants.
My wife says that the air conditioning could have worked better.

Great outdoor dining area for sunsets, but air conditioning struggled in July heat.

Wow, the breathtaking view from our balcony made our stay unforgettable! The croissants at breakfast were to die for! Just a bit too warm at night – could use A/C.

Charming room, lovely breakfast, with a cute atmosphere and friendly service, as the breakfast includes freshly baked croissants and the staff is always ready to help with any requests, while being just a 5-minute walk from the train station for easy travel.

Staying here was awesome! The hosts, mauro and his wife, were super friendly. Breakfast was simple but delish, especially the cappuccinos! The patio is perfect for chillin and watchin the sunset over the lake. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and ferry.
The only thing was that we wished there was a small fridge in the room. It could get a little hot at night without good ac.
